In Series: Mark Graver

A collection of works by Kerikeri- based artist printmaker Mark Graver focuses on connection to place, memory and the passing of time in a series of works exploring the motion of water, light, shadow and birds – brought to Aotearoa by European settlers and viewed as signifiers of physical and environmental colonisation. The exhibition – comprising prints, digital video and sound – includes the Rivulet Series – archival pigment prints made during the artist’s recent residency at the University of Tasmania and inspired by the Hobart Rivulet and waterways in Northland and Graver’s hometown in the UK.
