Local photographer Megan Bowers-Vette has spent the last 12 months photographing and collecting the portraits and stories of 50 men and women from NZ and Australia who are living with the experience of rape, and other forms of sexual abuse. These images and words will be exhibited for the first time here at Whangarei Art Museum before touring in an aim to open up the conversation around sexual violence.
