(Now fully booked) The artists behind The Plant Room - Kim Newall and Dr Maggie Buxton - are holding a practical peer workshop at Whangārei Art Museum on Saturday 12 September from 1-4pm.
Ten spaces are available for those interested in interactive installation design and coding for creativity.
The artists will deconstruct their AwhiWorld exhibition (and other projects) exploring technical infrastructure such as interactive sound, sensors, micro-controllers and Raspberry Pi. The workshop will include a hands on introduction to coding (in a creative context) that can be accessed by all skill levels. Participants need to bring their own laptop (with working wifi).
